Could lawsuits be in the future for Pinterest lovers?

Pinterest Hires Lawyer from Google to Address Recent Threats

I knew it!   I posted something on my blog months ago about copyright concerns on Pinterest. I wasn’t the only one who was a little concerned about this. Kristen, a lawyer and photographer, also posted about her “tearful” parting with her Pinterest boards.

With its recent growth and success, it seems that Pinterest may be preparing for legal issues regarding their terms of use and copyright violations.

According to BusinessInsider.com, Pinterest has just hired a big-name lawyer from Google, Micheal Yang, to deal with its biggest threats.

“…Pinterest faces a serious legal challenge in its future: a huge portion of the content hosted on the site is copyrighted content, posted without the consent or even knowlege of the copyright owners.”  Read more
