For example, 3,600 photos are shared on Instagram every minute! Brands and organizations receive 34,722 “likes” on Facebook every minute!

This demonstrates just how important it is for a brand to have a strong presence on social networking sites.

It also shows, though, just how much information audiences are inundated with every minute of every day.  For a public relations professional, it is important to recognize this reality and to find creative ways to make their messages and their content stand out.
